A recent update from Louie’s adopter Christy states, “Just thought I would give you a happy update on Louie. He went to his first competitive trail ride this weekend and was an absolute champ! He was very well behaved for the entire time– stood tied to the trailer all night, and showed good manners at the vet checks. But, best of all, he came in “third place”!! Everyone was impressed with how well he did and how easily he pulsed down at the checks. He handled some rough terrain, road riding, and gong through a covered bridge, all in stride. Needless to say, I am proud of him.  I can’t wait for next year, when we can start competing again. Thanks for allowing us to adopt him, and know that he is doing well and is loved. I think you can officially declare him a ’success story’ now!
