Uncharted Course is a 6yr old gelding who stands over 16.2h with long legs and features reminiscent of an Appendix. Charlie has a petite, almost doe-like head. After his last race in 2016, he was turned out to let down. He just sat in a field from December until this summer so his topline dropped off. He is very steadily gaining weight and building muscle with work and will likely hold his condition better as his body gets used to being outside. Charlie is one of the wise elders in the group who will put the youngsters in their place. He is going out all night in a large group of 6-8 and comes inside for the heat of the day. He is polite to lead and has done very well with groundwork. Charlie is very attentive to your body language even though he does not always know what you are asking. He does not have any stall vices.
Charlie loves to work and is extremely attuned to the riders body. He is already starting to frame up nicely and moves well off your leg. He has a motor but is very adjustable. A major bonus is his comfy canter! Uncharted Course will be best suited for low level dressage, pleasure and trail riding. This sweet soul is amenable to a variety of riders and will do well with an intermediate level rider.
