Trapezius is one tall drink of water. He has been turned out all winter so he is a bit scruffy now but the “bones” of a handsome sport horse are all there and my, what big bones they are! He exudes confidence and tends to be an alpha type personality. Trapezius is usually boss of the field. He has good manners but does sometimes need reminders of what he know. He does not have any stall vices.
Under saddle, he is a lovely mover with a very even tempo. His confidence means he in unconcerned with his surroundings and does not have a tendency to be spooky. Trapezius can test his rider, so he does best with a rider who is authoritative. He loves having a job and can get restless when he is not in work. Trapezius goofs around with the bit right now but continuing with a consistent routine and switching to a micklem or adding a figure eight noseband will teach him to be less busy. He was retired with a bowed tendon which has been fully rehabbed and is suitable for jumping careers. He is best suited for an advanced rider.
