Sue is an absolutely adorable and sweet-natured young lady. She has been a barn favorite since her arrival and has always been a joy to be around. Sue is well mannered and easy to handle. She is no problem for the vet or farrier and enjoys plenty of turn out. She gets along well with others and is not a dominate mare. Sue is very loving and affectionate, and bonds closely with her “people.” She has a very curious personality and an excellent temperament. Sue has recently been started back into work and hasn’t skipped a beat. She is very kind and sensible, but does best when you give her plenty of time to adjust to her surroundings. She will need a patient and experienced handler to help give her the confidence she needs. Sue will make a wonderful low-level pleasure horse at this time.
Sun Bonnet Sue came to us through NYTHA’s Take The Lead Program and we greatly appreciate their support.
