Splendid Behavior who we call Forest, is a kind, older guy, looking for his forever home. Forest raced 62 times and he did not start racing until he was 3 and held up nicely! Built more like a quarter horse, Forest can take a taller rider. He starts off quick and ready to work, but settles in nicely! He naturally carries himself so we can’t wait to see what he can do with more time, muscle and proper riding will do! Forest likes to show us his tongue while being worked on the lunge and under saddle as you can see in his video! He is a barn favorite and always minds his manners! Forest does best with 4 shoes on and a constant reminder that he is loved! He will be best suited for a confident intermediate rider with a professional trainer for the time being, as he is still learning to use and bend his body and a forward mover! Forest shows potential for low level disciplines! We see him thriving with an older teenager who is a balanced rider and wants to pour their love into him!!!!!
~ Does well in turnout, can be the boss at times ~ Stands well for farrier (4 shoes) ~ Stands well in crossties ~ Loves doing new things
