Snip’s Miracle is a big framed 16.3h gelding. Now 9yrs old, Snips never made it to the track and has just spent most of his life hanging out on his previous owner’s farm. He was ridden on occasion and was well handled throughout his life which is obvious in his excellent nature as you work around him. He is mannerly in all aspects and is also a good influence on pasturemates. He is big enough to stand up for himself but is so low key that he generally avoids any scuffles. Snips will require a home that is prepared for a bit of a harder keeper. He has a giant frame which requires more nutrition than the majority of other TBs to carry a nice weight. We have given him the best- he has a clean fecal, his teeth have been floated, he has been chiropracted twice, and has had one acupuncture treatment. Snips is slowly but surely building a topline and gaining condition, it is just a work in progress. He is ready to find his person to take him the rest of the way! He does not have any stall vices.
Under saddle, Snips’ sweet and friendly disposition continues to shine through. He is very brave, observing his surrounding without spooking even on trail rides. He willingly goes on the bit and is straightforward to ride. Snips has a long, forward stride which oozes athleticism. He will be better suited to an advanced rider as he can get a bit heavy in the riders hands. He is not trying to run off but an advanced rider can package this big dude together where intermediate riders may struggle a bit. Snips is suitable for all disciplines!
