Sara is very much a baby with a little bit of red headed diva mixed in. She will be distracted by things around the arena one minute, go right back to work the next and then tell you that she doesn’t need to be told what to do because in her opinion she’s got it already, all in just one circle of the arena. Funny really because she is not at the point yet where you can just loop the reins to her because she has to be given clear direction, but she is a really good girl. The video is of her second time cantering and 6th ride overall, so the canter will smooth out with time. Sara seems like she has the type of personality to be a bit of a show off in the ring as she matures and she has shown us that she is very smart, taking to over fences work without batting an eye at it. Even though she is young, she should be suitable for an upper intermediate level rider and should be suitable for most disciplines. Turnout with other mares is no problem as she falls in the middle to lower end of the herd.
