Not Given Up is a solid girl, standing over 16.2h. She is a diva who does have her opinions about grooming and blankets. If done gently and respectfully she will tolerate the process especially if you have cookies. Giver mainly just makes snarky faces and is all show, we handle her with a sense of humor! She used to be one of the bosses of the girl herd but she is now towards the bottom of the herd. She loads on the trailer with no issues on step up or ramp. She stands well for the farrier and does not have any stall vices.
She has proven to be an amazing and brave trail horse. She will cross water first if asked, but prefers to follow a buddy if it looks too muddy. Bikes, cars, guns, and dogs are not an issue for her, she handles them all in stride while riding Western or English. If her riding buddies are not the sanest companions, she will take it in stride and continue without issue. Crossing logs can be done with a jump if asked, but will just step over and continue on. She will be best suited for a home that enjoys trail riding or fox hunting 2nd or 3rd flight. Arena work is not her favorite thing and she would prefer a home where that is a limited option. She travels to new locations without issue.
She is an interesting individual as she was found to have a cyst on one of her ovaries that was causing her a great deal of discomfort so she has had her ovaries removed. This is known as an ovariectomy or spaying. She does not have any special requirements as a result.
