Mirai is a striking 4 yr old son of Trappe Shot. He was undefeated in his 2 lifetime starts, even garnering a stakes win. As you would expect, Mirai has a pretty big ego since no one ever bested him on the track. In his world he is the man! I call him my “pretty pretty princess” of the farm. He is quite expressive and you never have to guess what he is thinking. For starters, Mirai is certain that our indoor arena is a horse swallowing hole in the universe. It is offensive to ask him to walk through mud and water. Also, he thinks we should keep an eye on that mounting block character- that dude is sketchy. Mirai is the herd leader, always first at the gate. He stands nicely for grooming, who doesn’t like to be pretty?! Mirai does not have any stall vices.
Under saddle, he is a flashy mover sure to turn heads. He glides along and is a comfortable ride. Mirai carries himself very well and has great basics. He prefers our outdoor arena to the indoor and is suspicious of new things. Every once in a while, he thinks training is a game and will throw in some bucks at the canter. He is athletic so he doesnt miss a beat, he just makes the days work more animated. He bowed his tendon which has been fully rehabbed and healed nicely. He is cleared for jumping or upper level dressage with an advanced rider.
