In Town Two Win is a fabulous mare that has already been exposed to all manner of things outside on the trails, she’ll even jump ditches and logs. This was proven when she handily navigated our trot poles in the arena the first time she was asked to cross them (see video).
We are looking for an extra special adopter for In Town, she’s being rehomed by her conscientious race owners only because she’s too nice of a mare to sit around and not be in a riding program! She’s been taken care of like a show horse since leaving the racetrack and in addition to being trail ridden, she’s also had several trips to professional trainers over the years. In Town is the same horse whether she sits for a week or for a month. She’s best suited for a novice intermediate rider or higher. No bad habits, easy keeper, great ground manners. The only caution would be that, like so many mares, she functions best when turned out in a mare only herd, to keep the separation anxiety issues at bay.
