Gone Pecan has been affectionately called “Peanut” his whole life –and he knows his name and will come over to you when called to in the paddock! Peanut is a classy trotter that made just shy of 200K on the racetrack before retiring a year ago. He has had over a year of riding time and prefers to trot under saddle but could be taught to gait. Peanut does best when on a weekly riding schedule and would love someone who wants to ride a lot and with goals. He loves a job. He’s had plenty of down time, gets along with other geldings in turnout and is an absolute pleasure to be around in the barn. He has no bad habits and adores attention. We would love to find an adopter that will spend one-on-one time with this deserving boy- he absolutely thrives when he has a person in his life–he likes being in a relationship and having a routine. He trots under saddle and would be very suitable for hunter under saddle and Intro dressage (would really excel at the Standardbred shows). In fact, his half brother, NV graduate Contrary Motion, is currently experiencing huge success in the showring- winning in multiple disciplines with a youth rider. We see Peanut having the same accomplishments with the right adopter!
