Buy a Halter, Help a Standardbred

Halters For Hope collects worn halters, with engrave nameplates, from the sport’s top racehorses, sires and broodmares, and offers them for sale to benefit horse rescue organizations that cater to saving Standardbreds.

100 percent of the proceeds from these halters go to the rescue groups!

Halters are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. E-mail your request to haltersforhope@ustrotting.com, and you will be contacted when the chosen halter is available and told to send the necessary donation. Upon receipt of the donation, Halters for Hope administrator Andy Cohen will ship the halters to purchasers. Donations (checks or money-orders) will be made payable directly to the charitable rescue organization stipulated for the specific horse.

Only one halter per horse is available at a given time, but a waiting list will be established to fulfill all orders. If your selected halter is not immediately available, you will be placed on the wait list and notified when it is on hand.
